Common Questions, Clear Answers
Here are answers to some of the most common questions about our services and what to expect.
All Customers receive our Musolf Action Plan by email prior to the snow event dispatch. It includes the expected dispatch time, an approximate route completion window, vehicle-moving reminders, service updates, and instructions for contacting us if support is needed. Customers will also receive a live text alert when an operator is approaching your driveway
Our standard service is dispatched after approximately 1.5 inches of snowfall accumulation. Dispatch timing depends on when the snowfall ends, total accumulation, drifting, road conditions, and the details of your service agreement.
We generally allow up to 12 hours after the snowfall ends to complete the residential route. Severe weather, drifting, equipment problems, heavy accumulation, and unsafe road conditions may affect completion times.
Our primary residential service is offered through seasonal agreements. Seasonal service provides dependable placement on an established route and predictable pricing. Available service options and snowfall limits are explained in your agreement.
Sidewalk and step clearing is available as an additional service and must be listed in your agreement. Depending on the property, this work may be completed using hand shovels, snowblowers, or a combination of equipment.
Whenever possible, park vehicles inside the garage. If that is not possible, park them close to the garage or building in a straight, organized line. Keeping the main clearing area open allows our operators to complete the property more safely and efficiently.
For larger storms, we may perform an initial open-up pass before the snowfall ends, followed by final clearing after the storm. Final service may include sidewalk clearing and cleanup of the ridge left by the city plow, depending on your agreement.
